To start us off, many esteemed guests attended the opening, from Cathy Sun, founder of Taiwan Santa; Ruojia Gong, founder of Yii Cultural, co-organizer of this event; Yu Tian Ruan, founder of Bau Yu Art Center, to most artists participating in the creation of Taiwan Santa: Yu Kai Chen, Yi Long Chen, Ching-Yu Hsu, and Dao Ming Chuang, and Elin Yeh.

The Taiwanese Santa Claus Association has entered its 7th year. Cathay Sun proudly presented the association’s progress as it moves beyond replying to letters and has begun donating to remote villages since 2018. This act is to help children in need of painting materials and writing utensils.

To tie back to this year’s Taiwan Santa Charity and Art Exhibition, the organizers also want to invite all people across the art and media industry to join this act of charity.

Ruo Jia Gong, and Yu Tian Ruan, then delivered speeches about how they were moved and motivated by Taiwan Santa's charity. Therefore, they decided to provide resources from multiple venues to promote this charity event.

Yu Kai Chen, Yi Long Chen, Ching-Yu Hsu, and Dao Ming Chuang were invited to participate in the painting of the Taiwan Santa dolls and to share their creativity by showing how each doll is different from one another.

We are glad that this exhibition promoted Taiwan Santa and the charitable causes that it stands for. The exhibition is an excellent opportunity for many to learn about the selfless volunteers that enable the organization to help many children in need. They work tirelessly to write and reply to all Taiwan Santa letters from around the world every Christmas. These Volunteers play an essential role in lending a hearing ear to children with sincere wishes. For people that wish to contribute, fret not! There is still time to join the charity of Taiwan Santa either by participating in the letter-writing process or donating to the cause.
